It is a tiny village and yet there are 2 grocery shops, 2 bar/restaurants and another restaurant specializing in the traditional Spanish paella, highly recommended by the locals. There's also a tennis court, bowls area and small play park. Nearby villages of Hondon de las Nieves and Algueña are each less than 10km away. They both have a larger selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants and still retain their traditional Spanish feel. Market days are good fun and fiestas which are fairly regular are amazing entertainment. You can also visit the local bodegas where very good, locally produced wine can be sampled. Nestled among the breathtaking Crevillente mountains, there are limitless walks and cycle rides where you can find a huge variety of bird and plant species. Alenda Golf Course is just 20 mins away by car.
